K Investments (formerly - Proximus) has been in business as a distributor of energy raw materials for more than 30 years. During this time, we have gained the necessary knowledge and experience that allows us to provide services at the highest level. We offer our clients a comprehensive and individual approach, fully adapted to their needs, as well as legal and financial support. We provide the possibility to negotiate our own contractual terms in order to best meet the expectations of each Contractor.

We specialise in the import, export and wholesale of coal and coke, as well as other energy raw materials, and we also provide sorting (of coal and coke) and crushing services for our clients.

Wholesale of coal and other solid fuels

We specialise in the sale, import and export of energy raw materials of various types. We have many years of experience in the distribution of coal, coal products, coke and ferroalloys. We are also involved in the wholesale of industrial rocks, as well as biomass.

Thermal coal

Coal distribution is one of our core activities. Thermal coal is one of the most important solid fuels used in the energy industry.

Coking coal

Coking coal is used primarily in the coking industry. Depending on its volatile matter content, it can be used as an additive to cool the coal charge or to produce metallurgical coke.

Coke

Coke is a key raw material in the steelmaking process, but is also used in sugar and lime plants.

PCI coal

PCI coal is used primarily in the steelmaking process. It reduces coke consumption and has a positive effect on the efficiency of industrial furnaces.

Biomass

Biomass is an environmentally friendly fuel that is gaining more and more importance in the energy industry every year. Mainly due to the fact that it contains no environmentally harmful substances.

Carburisers and Frothers

Carburisers and foaming agents are commonly used in the metallurgy, foundry and abrasive and refractory industries.

Ferroalloys

Ferroalloys play a not inconsiderable role in the steelmaking process, improving its parameters. They are also often used in the manufacture of non-ferrous metals and during denitrification and deoxidation processes.

The industrial rocks offered by K Investments are used in a wide range of industries, including construction, metallurgy, mining or chemical industries

Charcoal

Charcoal is an environmentally friendly raw material distinguished by low smoke emissions and no risk of spontaneous combustion. It is used in metallurgy as well as in the medical, food and chemical industries.

LOGISTICS

Transport of raw materials

We inspect every stage of our services and guarantee detailed supervision of every stage of the order, including the transport of raw materials. We make sure that the ordered products arrive at the indicated place as soon as possible. To ensure prompt delivery, we export and import coal and other solid fuels by sea, river, rail and road.

We offer not only express but, above all, safe transport of energy raw materials. Each product is carefully packed by us before dispatch, observing all safety standards. This allows us to guarantee that the delivered goods will maintain the highest quality parameters when they reach their destination.

Most of our energy raw materials are delivered in bulk, but at the special request of the contracting party, we can also deliver some raw materials, including coke and coal in bulk, in big bags or containers. For companies that do not have storage space, we also offer a 'just in time' delivery option.
