Sulphur
Sulphur in its pure form is used in a wide variety of industries, including the rubber industry (in the vulcanisation of rubber), the metallurgical industry (to produce steel with special properties), the paper industry or the chemical industry (to produce sulphuric acid, sulphites and insecticides). It is also used in the production of paints, varnishes, polymers and synthetic fibres, mineral fertilisers and pyrotechnic and explosive mixtures (including mixtures for matches and gunpowder). Sulphur is also used for disinfecting vegetable warehouses and poultry houses, in the wine industry (when storing vegetables and fruit). In addition, it is included in the composition of some medicines and is essential for obtaining sulphur dioxide, carbon disulphide, ebonite and luminophores.
Ammonium sulphate
Ammonium sulphate, together with sulphur, is a by-product of the coking of coal. It is used as a food additive (acidity regulator), for drinking water purification, wood preservation or in the production of dyes, paints and varnishes. It is also used in the paper, clothing, construction and pharmaceutical industries (it is included in many vaccines). However, it is most commonly used as an adjuvant for spraying and as a mineral fertiliser. Our range includes ammonium sulphate AS21 select and AS21 macro, which are fertilisers designed for winter and spring crops.
Coal dust
Coal dust is widely used in the sugar, lime, cement, metallurgy and coke industries. Its calorific value ranges from 6400 kcal to 7000 kcal. We offer coal dust in both dry (in which case it is delivered in big bags) and wet versions.
